Research Report Writing Skill, Communication Skill and Lecturers’ Job Effectiveness in Universities in Cross River State, Nigeria

This study sought to examine research report writing skill, communication skill and lecturers’ Job effectiveness in University of Calabar Cross River State, Nigeria. Literature review was carried out according. The survey design used for the study. Two null hypotheses formulated direct investigation. population 1856, from (UNICAL). instrument data collection constructed by researchers using a four likert scale questionnaire titled; Research Report Writing Skill, Communication Skill Lecturers’ Effectiveness Questionnaire (RRWSCSLJEQ). face content validity checked experts Measurement Evaluation who vetted items developed. reliability Cronbach Alpha method co-efficient ranged .70 .82. stratified sample technique 420 lecturers, Statistical tool employed analysis simple linear regression at 0.05 level significance, with 341 degree freedom. result revealed that significantly relates effectiveness. It recommended Government should established computer skills acquisition centres universities increase literacy trained qualified ICT personnel be as instructors better acquisition.
